- Eat fresh. It’s fast food. Have the food available, discipline yourself to eat it, learn how to fix it, and get in the habit of enjoying it.
- Buy healthy food that is quick to fix then add colorful vegetables.
- Enjoy socializing over healthy food. Veggie pizza, healthy salad, sautéd vegetables over brown rice. You can lead by example.
- Have cooked meat or vegetables in the freezer if desired (cook meat in the crockpot then freeze to add to vegetables; freeze fresh vegetables that you don't have time to eat fresh).
Check your plate at every meal to make sure you are eating a colorful diet.
